VRCG (formerly Vehicle Replacement Consulting Group) began as a consulting company back in 2001, morphing into a used car wholesaler and auto fleet sales company in 2003. Along the way, we’ve given industry-related presentations and perspectives to businesses and organizations ranging from hedge funds to non-profits, and all manner of companies in between. We’ve also been sought out by a diverse number of prestigious newspapers, columnists, business writers, reporters and enterprises throughout the United States, Canada, South America and Europe.

Michael Kane
VRCG is led by Michael J. Kane, a 30+ year veteran of the auto rental and leasing business, and also one of the top automotive leasing consultants in the country. Mike capped off a successful career with the largest car rental company in the US by founding, then growing, a vehicle rental and leasing business unit that had 10,000 rental units, thousands of lease units, and retail and wholesale car sale operations.

Dave Arney
Dave has comprehensive knowledge of fleet planning and remarketing. He also has 20+ years experience analyzing, creating strategies, and executing fleet plans. His tenure in the business has exposed him to a wide variety of market conditions, changes in manufacturers’ focus, and cutting edge sales strategies. This experience, combined with his true “car guy” passion for the business, makes for a realistic approach that results in increased fleet flexibility, lower carrying cost, and more dollars out of your fleet.

Jeff Warmolts
Jeff is a 30 year veteran of the car rental industry. He at one time owned and operated Southeast Michigan’s Thrifty Car Rental franchise, which consisted of a large airport location and 9 suburban branches. In September 2006, Jeff made a career change by closing his franchise operation and joining the VRCG remarketing team.
Jeff and his wife Michelle reside in lovely Plymouth, MI. and enjoy long weekend trips to warmer climates. They also travel to their cottage on the west side of the state every weekend they can.

Jeff Jenkinson
Jeff joined VRCG in early 2008 and brought 20 years of retail and automotive sales management experience with him. He began his automotive career in sales for a Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Jeep and Nissan dealership where he was promoted to New Vehicle Sales Manager within a year. Jeff then spent 4 years honing his skills at an automotive wholesale company followed by 8 years as Used Vehicle Sales Manager and Finance Manager for a Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Jeep dealership.
Jeff resides in White Lake MI. right on Pontiac Lake. He spends his summers on his boat, golfing and running. He enjoys snow skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months. Jeff has two daughters and four grandchildren.

Mike Yatsko
Mike Yatsko brings 35+ years of automotive experience to VRCG, Inc. His career began with American Motors and continued through a series of mergers and acquisitions, including Daimler Chrysler becoming Chrysler, LLC. Mike retired as Director of Dealer Operations for Chrysler simultaneously with his position of President of Chrysler Realty Corporation.
Mike’s real love is the dealer network, especially helping dealers work seamlessly to increase customer and employee satisfaction, and profit.
Mike is an avid golfer and a teller of many stories that’ll keep you laughing. He and his wife Kathie reside on a lovely lake in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

Ed Armbruster
Ed’s experience and background centered primarily in the “fixed” end of dealerships, most recently as the fixed operations manager of a local GM dealer, where he also collaborated with the new and used car departments to oversee marketing, digital advertising, reconditioning, and promotional events.
Starting his career out of a tool box as a body technician, and moving through the ranks, gaining experience in all departments of a dealership, has made for a unique and expansive view of the business.

Kevin Bice
Kevin joined VRCG in September of 2011. His career began in the rental car industry; he worked for 2 big rental firms, for a total of 16 years. For the last nine years Kevin was a very respected Dealer Sales Manager for Manheim Detroit Auto Auction.
Kevin has made a name for himself by helping dealers succeed; he has built long lasting relationships within his large network of dealers.
Kevin loves playing as much golf as possible in his spare time, but combines this with coaching or helping his daughters’ softball teams. He’s also a Detroit Tigers nut, along with paying attention to sports in general. Kevin and his wife Leslie live in Macomb MI. with their two beautiful girls.

Crystal Castle
Crystal joined the VRCG team in March of 2012 after 18 years of office management and cost accounting work, 4 of those years at a new car dealership. Happy to be back in the automotive market, she looks forward to growing with the company.
Crystal loves to read, travel and spend time out of doors doing fun things like hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and running. She and her husband Jeff live with an animal menagerie in Royal Oak, MI.
