FAQ

We at VRCG know our business inside and out, but you may still have questions if we’ve inadvertently left something out. In that event, we’ve asked the professionals here to share some FAQs to assist you and if you still can’t find the answer to a question you’re looking for, head over to our contact page and drop us a line. We’re more than happy to help you.

  • Where does your inventory come from?
Almost all of our inventory comes from rental companies – big national ones, small local operators, specialty rental car companies and the like.
  • How do you arrive at your pricing? What about trucking, fuel, etc.?
We ask you to pay market pricing – no more, no less.  As a used car expert, you’ll know how much you can pay for a unit in your area.  If we can deliver a nice group of vehicles to you, freight included, that you can make money on, you’ll know a good value from VRCG when you see it. Getting it to you quickly is our mission and we’re good at it.

  • Will you provide me references?
Yes.   Although we honor the privacy of our clients, if you want references we’ll provide them to you. We are pleased and honored to have a great group of dealers that buy from us.
  • Is freight included in my purchases from VRCG?
You bet!  Trucking and all of its hassles, risks and expenses are our problem, so that you can concentrate on your core business.
  • What are the conditions of the cars that I buy from you?
We will send you cars in average rental condition or better. If we find out, through our inspection or risk-management processes that we have a substandard vehicle, we’ll make sure you don’t get it.
  • How and when do I pay for units that I buy from you?
Assuming all paperwork is signed, we’ll ship you cars and you’ll take them into inventory. We expect payment within 48 hours of you getting vehicles and title copies.
  • How do I get titles?
When we get your company check (or wire) paying for your vehicles, we then use an overnight service (currently UPS), to send you titles.
  • How long does it take for delivery of my units?
We get them to you as fast as we can. Generally, if the units are grounded when we sell them to you they’ll be there within days. If we’ve committed to a group of cars that’s still on rent when we buy them, it’ll take a bit longer.  Generally, we deliver within a range of four to ten days.
  • Who are you guys? How can I trust you?
We’ve been in business for well over twenty years. The owner of the company has a great track record in our industry and we value our reputation. We’re well funded; we are very detail oriented and we know the ability for us to stay in business and prosper is predicated on doing well for you.  At the end of the day, the risk is on us until you pay us for the cars we shipped to you!
  • How do you resolve disputes?
Quickly! Let us know what the problem is and we work it out.  We’ve never been sued, we’ve never sued anybody…we move quickly and decisively to fix any issues in a reasonable manner.
  • What about CARFAX or Experian AutoCheck inspections?
We run a CARFAX on every car we consider purchasing. The CARFAX either must be clear, or ‘explainable’ (and acceptable to you!) before we ship any vehicles to you.
  • Do you send out inventory lists?
Yes, upon request, but we prefer to call our clients direct with “hot” deals.
  • Who is my contact? How do I get started?
Call us and you’ll be introduced to one of our account executives who will handle all of your purchases. Our people are available 7 days a week to take orders, answer questions, help with problems and generally work with you so you can make money. That’s our job.
  • Why don’t I just buy direct from a rental company?
We buy in bulk. Cars might not be in your area. Some rental car companies demand payment terms that don’t line up with what you are allowed to do. Time. Hassle. There are lots of reasons!
